Line Dancing

If you love to move to music, this class is for you.  We know that dancing is a unique form of exercise because of its heart-healthy benefits, and great social activity, but it’s great fun with lots of laughter too (and concentration!).

This is to introduce the Toukley Line Dancers –  a group which comes together on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Monday and Wednesday classes cater for intermediate dancers.
Both classes run from 1.00pm to 3.00pm
in the Main Auditorium –
the biggest and best dance floor on the coast.

The Friday class is for beginners and improver-beginners.
The class runs from 9.30am to 12noon
The first hour is for new beginners, and the second part of the class is for those people who have been dancing for a while.

We have just started a new beginners’ class which is proving very successful.
Wednesday 11.45am to 12.45pm

All classes cost $5.00, of which $4.00 goes to the club to cover operational costs, and the remaining $1 covers incidental expenses such as music. At the end of each year any funds remaining go towards our Christmas party.

Several times a year we hold a social line dance, the proceeds of which go to a charity.

We have a ball! So what are you waiting for? Why not come and join us? Dress is optional, but for your safety and of those around you please wear comfortable closed-in shoes.
